Girl's Day returns with another new song entitled "Female President" for their First Album - Repackage, bringing their sex appeal to a whole new different level and it seems like the girls really do not mind flashing more skin! In their previous comeback with their song "Expectation" they talked about showing the guy just how powerful a girl's charms are, regardless of the way they had chosen to deliver them.
In this song, however, they sang about how a girl should always be given the freedom to initiate changes. In the world today, a girl can always stand up and approach the guy first instead of waiting out on the first move that may never come. These beautiful girls are out to convince the young girls out there to be more confident with themselves and I believe this song is deserving of the attention that they are already getting.
The song itself though, is not as catchy as I thought it would be, I am sorry to say. However, as the song opens, the beat does capture you right away. I am just a little disappointed how it did not have that climax that Girl's Day is so famous for. MinAh still did her high notes perfectly in this song but it was nothing compared to all their title songs thus far. Eitherway, kudos MinAh dear! Usually I would transfix my eyes onto their youngest member, Hyeri, but this time round I have to admit Yura is stealing the spotlight. Leader Sojin is slowly letting her girls get the chance to show off their sex appeal even more than how she does it, how thoughtful. Congratulations, girls!
